What does this cost?
The audit is a fixed fee, scoped to the size of your operation and quoted in writing before any work begins, and it is credited in full toward your first build. Builds are fixed-fee and scoped from the audit, so you know the cost and the outcome before we start. No open-ended hourly engagements.
What if the audit finds nothing worth building?
We have not run into that, and there is a structural reason for it. AI capability is updating weekly, and most construction offices are running years behind what is already possible, so the gap is usually wide. The real question is rarely whether there is something worth building. It is which finding pays back fastest.
How long does a build take?
Quick wins deploy in a couple of days. Custom builds run around a week. Flagship systems take a couple of weeks. Beyond that it scales with how much automation you want; every build ships working and tested with your people.
Do we have to replace our software?
No. Everything we build fits the software you already run, including Procore, Buildertrend, Sage, Foundation, QuickBooks, PlanSwift, and Bluebeam workflows. The reverse also holds: sometimes a custom build can replace a subscription entirely, and when a tool you pay for monthly can be rebuilt to fit you better, the audit will say so.
Will our team use it?
That is the difference between automation that is adopted and automation that is abandoned. We build around how your people already work, they review what the tools produce, and nothing important happens without a human's sign-off. Tools built that way get adopted because they remove the work people dislike, not the judgment they are paid for.
What happens to our data?
Your data stays yours. Tools are built on your own systems and accounts wherever possible, access is limited to what each automation needs, and nothing about your business is used to train anyone's models. For larger firms we set up formal AI governance as part of the engagement.
Is AI reliable enough for real estimating work?
As an assist, yes. As a replacement for your estimator's judgment, no, and we will not sell it that way. The machine takes the reading, measuring, and drafting; every number is reviewed by your team before it goes anywhere. That division of labor is what makes the reliability question a non-issue.
Why not purchase a commercial AI product?
Generic platforms rarely match the way real contractors operate. What they are selling is their process, and you spend months bending your company to fit it. The AI is a commodity. How your business runs is the asset. We start there.
We are not technical. Is that a problem?
No. You do not need a single technical person on staff. We build, deploy, maintain, and explain everything in plain language, and everything we build lives in one dashboard where you can watch it work.
