ERP & Construction Accounting System Solutions
Your accounting platform holds the truth about your business. We build the layer that keeps it fed accurately and makes what it knows usable everywhere else.
The Business Case
Construction accounting is where every other department's work eventually lands. Job costs, pay applications, retainage, change orders, certified payroll, and lien deadlines all converge in a platform that was chosen years ago and is rarely the easiest system in the building to work with.
We do not replace that platform. We build around it: automated intake so records arrive correctly, validation so errors surface before month-end, and reporting so the numbers inside it reach the people who need them without a manual export.
ERP & Accounting Systems Capabilities
Automated Cost Intake
Invoices, tickets, and timesheets captured, coded against the right job and cost code, and staged for approval.
Pay Application Assembly
Draft pay applications and supporting documentation compiled from job records for review and submission.
Change Order Tracking
A tracked path from request to approved change so nothing is performed without a documented commitment behind it.
Retainage and Lien Deadline Monitoring
Automated watch on the dates that cost money when they are missed, with escalation before they arrive.
Job Cost Variance Alerting
Notification when a job drifts from its budget while the job is still running, rather than at closeout.
Financial Reporting Automation
Recurring reports generated and delivered on schedule instead of assembled by hand each period.
What These Systems Deliver
Platform Agnostic
Built to work with the construction accounting system you already own rather than a preferred vendor of ours.
Approval Gates
Nothing posts to your ledger without the sign-off your controller requires.
Audit Trail
Every automated action is logged with its source, so a reviewer can always reconstruct what happened.
Month-End Compression
Work that currently piles up for close is handled continuously through the month.
Coding Consistency
Cost coding is applied by rule, which removes the drift that comes from several people coding by habit.
Exception Surfacing
Records that do not fit the rules are queued for a human rather than forced through.
Custom Versus Off-the-Shelf
| The Difference | Why It Matters Here |
|---|---|
| Construction Accounting Is Not Generic Accounting | Job costing, retainage, and progress billing are structural, not add-ons. General business automation tools do not model them. |
| Your Chart of Accounts Is Yours | Cost codes, job numbering, and phase structures differ from company to company. Automation has to follow your structure to be trusted. |
| Your Controller Sets the Rules | The threshold for what may post automatically and what requires review is a business decision. A custom build encodes your answer instead of a vendor's default. |
How an Engagement Runs
Discovery
We learn how the work moves through your company today, from the people who do it.
Opportunity Identification
We find where the return is, then rank it by payback, effort, and risk.
Impact Assessment
We put numbers to each candidate so the build order is an economic decision.
Design and Validation
We prototype and test with your team before development, which is when changes are cheap.
Build and Deployment
We build, rehearse against real conditions, and go live with documentation and a dashboard.
Ongoing Advantage
We maintain, monitor, and extend the system as your operation and the technology both move.
ERP & Accounting Questions We Hear
Do you replace our accounting software?
No. Replacing a construction accounting platform is expensive, disruptive, and rarely the actual fix. We build the intake, validation, and reporting layers around it so it performs the way you expected when you bought it.
Can automation post directly to the general ledger?
It can, and often the better answer is that it should not. Routine, rule-based entries with clean sources can post automatically. Anything with judgment or contractual weight is prepared for approval. Your controller decides where that line sits.
What does this do for month-end close?
It moves work out of the close window. When coding, matching, and exception handling happen continuously, close becomes a review of clean data rather than a scramble to create it.
