API Development & System Integration for Construction
Your accounting platform, project software, takeoff tools, and spreadsheets were never built to exchange information. We build the connections.
The Business Case
Most construction companies do not have a software problem. They have a connection problem. The estimating system does not know what accounting knows, the field app does not know what the schedule says, and the gap between them is filled by a person retyping the same information into a third place.
Integration work removes that person from the middle. We build the APIs, middleware, and synchronization layers that let your existing platforms exchange data directly, with clear rules about which system owns which record and what happens when they disagree.
API & System Integration Capabilities
Custom API Development
Purpose-built APIs that expose your data securely to the tools and partners that need it.
Third-Party Platform Integration
Connections into the construction software you already run: Procore, Buildertrend, Sage, Foundation, QuickBooks, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, and the estimating and document tools alongside them.
Middleware and Orchestration
A coordination layer that moves records between systems on a schedule or on an event, with retries and error handling built in.
Legacy System Bridging
Access to data trapped in older software or local databases without replacing the system that holds it.
Data Migration and Consolidation
Clean, verified movement of historical records when you change platforms or merge duplicated sources.
Spreadsheet and File Integration
Read and write access to the Excel and shared-drive workflows your team genuinely relies on, treated as real systems rather than obstacles.
What These Systems Deliver
Single Source of Truth
Each field has one owning system, so there is a defensible answer when two screens disagree.
Eliminated Duplicate Entry
Information is entered once, by the person closest to it, and appears everywhere it belongs.
Real-Time or Scheduled Sync
Records move the instant they change or on a cadence that matches how your office works.
Failure Visibility
When an integration cannot complete, it says so clearly instead of failing silently and leaving a gap.
Secure Credential Handling
Authentication and access are scoped narrowly and stored properly, never pasted into a script.
Documented Contracts
Every integration ships with plain-language documentation of what moves, when, and in which direction.
Custom Versus Off-the-Shelf
| The Difference | Why It Matters Here |
|---|---|
| Prebuilt Connectors Stop Short | Marketplace connectors cover the fields the vendor thought were common. The field your process depends on is usually not one of them. |
| Your Stack Is Specific | The combination of platforms, versions, and workarounds in your office does not exist anywhere else, which is exactly why a generic connector underperforms. |
| Rules Beat Mapping | Real integration is not field mapping. It is deciding what happens on conflict, on deletion, and on partial data, which requires knowing your business. |
How an Engagement Runs
Discovery
We learn how the work moves through your company today, from the people who do it.
Opportunity Identification
We find where the return is, then rank it by payback, effort, and risk.
Impact Assessment
We put numbers to each candidate so the build order is an economic decision.
Design and Validation
We prototype and test with your team before development, which is when changes are cheap.
Build and Deployment
We build, rehearse against real conditions, and go live with documentation and a dashboard.
Ongoing Advantage
We maintain, monitor, and extend the system as your operation and the technology both move.
API & Integration Questions We Hear
Which platforms can you integrate with?
Anything with an API, a database, an export, or a file drop. In practice that means Procore, Buildertrend, Sage, Foundation, QuickBooks, PlanSwift, and Bluebeam, plus the estimating tools, document systems, and shared spreadsheets in between. The depth of each integration depends on what the vendor exposes, which we verify at the interface level before proposing anything rather than after. Where a platform offers no interface at all, we say so and discuss the tradeoffs of a workaround honestly.
Will this break when a vendor updates their software?
Integrations are built defensively and monitored, and a managed retainer exists precisely because platforms change. When a vendor changes an interface, the fix is a maintenance item rather than a crisis.
Do we have to change the software we use?
No. Integration work exists so you can keep the tools your team already knows. If a platform genuinely cannot support what you need, we say so, but replacing software is a last resort, not an opening recommendation.
