Staff AI Training and Coaching

This is not a course library or a set of videos. We teach your team directly, in a working session, using the bids and documents on their desks that week. People leave having saved time on something real, which is the only version of this that changes behavior.

WHY TRAINING FIRST

Why Training Comes First

A meaningful share of the work consuming your office does not need a custom system built for it. It needs the person already doing it to know what these tools can do, how to ask properly, and how to check the answer. That capability costs a fraction of a build and it applies to work we would never be commissioned to automate.

It also compounds. Trained staff surface better automation candidates, adopt what we build faster, and can bring the next hire up to speed without us. Companies that train first get more out of every build that follows.

TAUGHT IN PERSON

Your people, your jobs, in one working session.

THE SESSION

Session Curriculum

The sequence below is the standard shape. It is adjusted to your trade, your systems, and what your team is already doing, which we establish before the session rather than during it.

SESSION OPENS

What These Tools Are

A short, non-technical grounding in what current AI does reliably and what it does badly. Enough to replace both the fear and the overconfidence, and no more theory than that.

MODULE 01

Writing Instructions That Work

The practical difference between a request that produces something useful and one that produces confident but wrong output. Taught by rewriting your team's own attempts in front of them.

MODULE 02

Working With Your Documents

Getting real answers out of specifications, contracts, and submittals your people are holding that day. This is the module tied most directly to the work that fills an estimator's week.

MODULE 03

Drafting and Correspondence

Producing the letters, RFIs, scope narratives, and client updates that consume an afternoon, then editing them properly. Voice and accountability stay with your staff.

MODULE 04

Checking Its Work

How to spot a wrong answer that looks right, which is the single most important skill on this list. Verification habits, source checking, and the categories of task where output must never be trusted unread.

MODULE 05

Where the Line Is

What may go into these tools and what may not, drawn from your own governance rules. Concrete and specific to your company rather than a generic caution.

MODULE 06

Your Own Recurring Work

Each attendee brings one task they repeat weekly and leaves having built a working approach to it. This is what carries the session into the following week.

SESSION CLOSES

What Happens Next

Written notes and reference material, an agreed follow-up point, and identification of the internal champion your company will lean on afterward.

WHAT YOUR TEAM LEAVES WITH

After the Session

  • Time already saved on a real task before the session ends
  • A written reference sheet built from your own work, not a generic handout
  • The habits that separate reliable use from lucky use
  • Clear, specific rules about what may and may not go into these tools
  • An internal champion identified and briefed
  • A team that stops quietly using consumer tools without guidance
  • Fewer questions directed to us, because your staff can answer their own
  • Every future automation build landing better, because the users understand it
FORMATS

Four Delivery Formats

Team Workshop

A single working session with your office, run live and taught on your own current jobs. Suited to moving an entire team from cautious to productive in a single session, and it is where most companies start.

Role-Specific Coaching

Smaller sessions with the people who stand to gain most, usually estimators and project managers. Deeper than the group workshop and aimed at the specific work that consumes their week.

Recurring Monthly Program

A standing session each month that builds capability progressively and keeps your team current as tools change. This is the format that produces people who can teach the next hire.

Executive Session

A separate conversation for leadership about where this is going, what to expect from staff, and how to judge whether the investment is returning. Different audience, different questions.

PREPARATION

What Each Side Provides

Preparation

What We Ask From You

A room and a few hours, your team's actual current work rather than a sanitized example, and honesty about what everyone is already using. The last of those matters more than it appears to.

Preparation

What We Bring

The session, the material, and the live instruction. Everything is taught against your work in front of you, so there is no preparation for your staff to complete beforehand.
