SOLUTIONS

Inventory, Equipment & Asset Tracking Systems

Equipment you cannot locate, maintenance you did not schedule, and material you bought twice are all the same problem: no reliable record.

THE PROBLEM

The Business Case

Equipment and material represent a large share of a contractor's capital and a large share of its avoidable loss. Tools disappear, machines run past their service interval, rentals stay on the yard past the date they were needed, and material gets ordered because no one could confirm what was already on hand.

The fix is an accurate, low-friction record. We build tracking systems that are fast enough to be used in the field, connected to the accounting and scheduling systems that should know what they know.

WHAT WE BUILD HERE

Inventory, Equipment & Assets Capabilities

01

Tool and Equipment Tracking

Location, assignment, and custody history for the assets that walk off job sites.

02

Preventive Maintenance Scheduling

Service triggered by hours, mileage, or calendar, scheduled before failure rather than after.

03

Fleet and Rental Management

Rental start and end dates monitored against actual need, with alerts before idle days accumulate.

04

Material Inventory Visibility

A current picture of what is on hand and where, so it is used rather than reordered.

05

Consumables and Reorder Automation

Reorder points that trigger purchasing automatically for the items you always need.

06

Utilization Reporting

Evidence of what is earning and what is sitting, to inform the buy, rent, or sell decision.

NOTABLE CAPABILITIES

What These Systems Deliver

Field Fast Capture

Check-in and check-out take seconds on a phone, which is the only way a record stays accurate.

Downtime Reduction

Maintenance happens on interval instead of on breakdown.

Rental Cost Control

Idle rental days become visible while they can still be stopped.

Accountability Trail

Custody history removes the ambiguity about where an asset went.

Accounting Linkage

Asset costs land against the right job rather than into a general bucket.

Barcode and Tag Friendly

Works with simple physical tagging rather than requiring expensive telematics.

COMPARISON

Custom Versus Off-the-Shelf

The DifferenceWhy It Matters Here
Off-the-Shelf Trackers Do Not Know Your JobsAsset software tracks assets. Tying utilization and cost to the job that consumed them requires knowing your job structure.
Adoption Depends on FrictionA tracking system that takes thirty seconds per transaction will be abandoned. Getting that to three seconds is design work specific to your workflow.
Your Fleet Mix Is YoursWhat deserves tracking, at what granularity, is an economic judgment about your equipment and your margins.
PROCESS

How an Engagement Runs

01

Discovery

We learn how the work moves through your company today, from the people who do it.

02

Opportunity Identification

We find where the return is, then rank it by payback, effort, and risk.

03

Impact Assessment

We put numbers to each candidate so the build order is an economic decision.

04

Design and Validation

We prototype and test with your team before development, which is when changes are cheap.

05

Build and Deployment

We build, rehearse against real conditions, and go live with documentation and a dashboard.

06

Ongoing Advantage

We maintain, monitor, and extend the system as your operation and the technology both move.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Inventory & Equipment Questions We Hear

Do we need GPS or telematics hardware?

Usually not to start. Most of the value comes from custody and maintenance records, which simple tagging handles. Telematics is worth adding when the equipment value justifies it, and the audit says whether it does for you.

Will the field keep it updated?

Only if it is faster than not doing it. That is a design constraint we treat as non-negotiable, and it drives most of the decisions in a build like this.

Can it tell us whether to buy or rent?

It can give you the utilization and cost history that makes the decision obvious. The decision stays yours, made against your own numbers rather than a rule of thumb.
