Client, Subcontractor & Field Portal Development

Every status call and document request is time your office spends answering a question a portal could answer without you.

THE PROBLEM

The Business Case

A surprising share of office time goes to being a lookup service: a client asking where a job stands, a subcontractor asking whether an invoice was received, a foreman asking which drawing is current. Every one of those questions has an answer already sitting in your records.

Portals turn those answers into self-service. We build focused, permissioned interfaces where each audience sees the current state of what concerns them, submits what you need from them, and stops needing to ask.

WHAT WE BUILD HERE

Client, Sub & Field Portals Capabilities

01

Client and Owner Portals

Project status, documentation, and progress made visible to owners without a phone call or an email chain.

02

Subcontractor Portals

A single place for subs to submit invoices, insurance, and compliance documents and to see where each stands.

03

Field Crew Interfaces

Phone-first access to current drawings, daily reporting, and task lists for crews on site.

04

Document Distribution

Controlled access to the current revision, which removes the risk of work performed from a superseded set.

05

Intake Forms and Submissions

Structured collection of what you need from outside parties, validated at entry rather than corrected later.

06

Notification and Status Tracking

Automated updates to the people waiting, so status requests stop arriving.

NOTABLE CAPABILITIES

What These Systems Deliver

Permissioned by Design

Each account sees only its own projects and records, enforced at the data layer.

Fewer Inbound Requests

Routine status and document questions answer themselves.

Current Revision Only

Superseded documents are not reachable, which prevents an expensive class of mistake.

Mobile First Where It Matters

Field-facing views are built for a phone in a gloved hand, not a desktop.

Branded to You

The portal presents as your company, because to your clients it is your company.

Audit Logged

Who accessed and submitted what, and when, is recorded.

COMPARISON

Custom Versus Off-the-Shelf

The DifferenceWhy It Matters Here
Vendor Portals Serve the VendorPortals bundled into platforms are built around the platform's data model, not around what your clients ask you for.
Your Clients Judge You By ItA portal is a client-facing product. Generic interfaces communicate exactly as much care as they took to configure.
Access Rules Are Business RulesWho may see which document at which stage is a decision with contractual consequences and belongs in a system you control.
PROCESS

How an Engagement Runs

01

Discovery

We learn how the work moves through your company today, from the people who do it.

02

Opportunity Identification

We find where the return is, then rank it by payback, effort, and risk.

03

Impact Assessment

We put numbers to each candidate so the build order is an economic decision.

04

Design and Validation

We prototype and test with your team before development, which is when changes are cheap.

05

Build and Deployment

We build, rehearse against real conditions, and go live with documentation and a dashboard.

06

Ongoing Advantage

We maintain, monitor, and extend the system as your operation and the technology both move.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Portals Questions We Hear

Will our clients and subs use it?

They use it when it is faster than emailing you, which is a design problem more than an adoption problem. Narrow, obvious portals that answer the two or three real questions get used. Comprehensive ones get ignored.

Is our data safe in a portal?

Access is scoped per account, enforced server side, and logged. Sensitive records stay out of the portal entirely unless there is a reason for them to be there. Data handling is defined explicitly during the build.

Can it work with the project platform we already use?

Yes. The portal reads from your existing systems so there is no second copy of the truth to maintain.
